About
Erik has been working in the power industry for the last twenty years, working in power system operations, electricity market design, research, software development, and collaboration engagements with organizations around the world. He had spent the last ten years at EPRI leading a team and a research program that utilized advanced software to conduct collaborative research for ISOs/RTOs, utilities, and other organizations on how the electricity markets are evolving along with the integrated energy system. At encoord, Erik helps align SAInt with the evolving needs of U.S. ISOs, advising on product development and providing critical subject matter expertise that strengthens our ability to serve partners and customers across the energy sector.
Why encoord:
“Having dipped my toes in the development and launch of a few different unique power system simulation tools over the years myself, I’ve always been excited in how to follow the evolution of the energy industry and integrate where it is headed into the tools and applications that can enable people to do their jobs better and improve the economics and reliability of the power grid for society. I joined this industry just before it started to move in a much quicker pace than it had been for the last century, and I love to be on the cutting edge of it. I believe this is a passion that I share with the encoord team and their solutions all seem very aligned with this aim.”
