Jacob leads Research and Development at encoord, where he focuses on integrating cutting-edge Data Science, Decision Making, and Power System Planning concepts into SAInt. Driven by a passion for turning data into actionable decisions, he has led open-source data visualization projects and published award-winning research in machine learning. Jacob holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where his research focused on balancing the often-competing objectives of water and energy systems.
